Child Watch

Ready for cardio? Can’t wait to lift weights? If you’re a parent of young children, PCRC does the first heavy lift, lifting the weight off your mind by eliminating worries about childcare. Spacious, cheerful, and stocked to entertain and educate, PCRC’s Child Watch area is more than a great amenity for parents, it’s a fun and stimulating place for kids, supervised by an excellent childcare staff.

Outside, a play structure and fenced play area provide fun under the sun during nice weather.  Inside, Child Watch is well-equipped for hours of play with toys specially selected to exercise the gross motor and fine motor skills of children 6 months and up.  Child Watch also encourages kids to exercise their imaginations and talents, in a small play kitchen area, a pretend play area, a musical creative station and a chalkboard wall. Kids stay happy and busy here, with toys and games that include dinosaurs, coloring pages, mega blocks, mini basketball and growth scooters. There are also DVD’s to watch and enjoy.

Child Watch has been designed for children in every way: even the bathroom is sized for kids. Child Watch is also an inviting place for new mothers, with a comfortable room set aside for changing diapers, breastfeeding, and rocking infants.

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 12:00pm

Monday - Thursday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Child care is available as an optional service to all members and non-members, with a 2-hour limit per day.

*No Child Watch on Days PCRC is Only open 6am-2pm for Holidays, Weather, and/or Other Events that may occur.

Rates

Members: $2 per child per hour

Non-Members: $3 per child per hour
